Biography
Matt Perkins is licensed in both California and Colorado. Mr. Perkins has practiced law since 2010 and has a long history of representing employers and businesses successfully navigate overly burdensome legal systems, save costs, and cut through the red tape. His current principle areas of concentration include business law, corporations, estate planning (wills and trusts), probate, and real estate; although he also handles many facets of civil litigation and transactional work. He enjoys advising individuals, entrepreneurs and businesses on a wide range of challenges.
Prior to joining Pearman Law Firm, PC, Mr. Perkins worked in Douglas County. He also spent seven years practicing law at two of the largest employer-side firms in California. He obtained his start as a lawyer representing employees at one of the largest firms in Sacramento, CA. Due to his experience on both sides of the table, Mr. Perkins is uniquely experienced for his current position where he represents both petitioners and respondents.
When he is not working, Mr. Perkins enjoys spending time with his family and cheering on his San Francisco Giants and 49ers. He can be found “opting outside” to exercise, play sports, and explore the great outdoors that Colorado has to offer.
Mr. Perkins earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of St. Thomas School of Law (2010). He graduated from Benedictine College with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Religious Studies (2006) and Political Science (2007).
Mr. Perkins represents clients throughout Colorado, especially in Denver, Douglas, Jefferson, Arapahoe, Adams and Boulder Counties.
